This site is operated as Operating as Jamper, a sole-trader business based in Australia (Australian Consumer Law primary), accessible at jamper.myshopify.com. References in this policy to “we”, “us” or “Jamper” mean this business. You can reach our privacy team at [email protected].
2. What information we collect
- Order data: name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number, items ordered, payment method.
- Account data: if you create an account — email, password (hashed), saved addresses.
- Device & usage: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, referrer, timestamps. Collected via Shopify analytics, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4.
- Communications: messages you send to support, AI assistant transcripts, reviews you submit.
3. How we use it
We use your information to fulfil orders, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with tax and consumer-protection laws, send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates), and — only if you opt in — send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform and payment processor (Shopify Payments).
- AutoDS & partner warehouses (US, EU, AU/CN) — to dispatch and track your order.
- PayPal, Afterpay/Clearpay, Apple, Google — only if you choose those payment methods.
- Meta & Google — for analytics and conversion measurement, using server-side Conversions API where supported.
- Email and customer-support tools — to deliver the messages you've asked for.
We never sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
Because Jamper ships globally and our partners operate in multiple countries, your data may be processed in Australia, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand or other jurisdictions. Where we transfer data internationally we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal information. Australian customers have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth); UK/EU customers under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR; Californian residents under the CCPA/CPRA; Canadian residents under PIPEDA. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] from the address on your order — we'll respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies & tracking
We use first-party cookies for cart state and analytics, plus Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4. You can opt out via your browser controls or our cookie banner. We honour Global Privacy Control signals and respect Do Not Track on supported browsers.
8. Retention
Order records are kept for 7 years to comply with tax and consumer-protection law. Marketing-only data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support tickets are kept for 24 months.
9. Children
Jamper is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent banner on the site.
